Current dynamics of urban development in the South suffer from problems of unsstainable supply of resources and removal of wastes. The popers thus focused on innovative approaches to improving on the management of urban resources and the infrastructure necessary to deliver these. These proceedings include all the papers and presentaions where these were not accompanied by a paper, together with summaries of workshop discussions and introductions to the document as a whole and to the three major topic sections.
