| Summary, etc. | Reconnu comme le photographe espagnol le plus important de son temps, le Catalan Francesc Català-Roca (1922-1998) doit d'abord sa réputation à sa vision sociale acérée et à sa traduction subtile du travail artistique et architectural. Il est notamment le principal imagier de la "nouvelle architecture catalane" des années 1950 et l'un des rénovateurs internationaux de la photographie d'architecture. C'est cette dimension méconnue de son oeuvre que donne à voir ce recueil, à travers 80 images issues du fonds Alberto Sartoris conservé aux Archives de la construction moderne, qui compte 250 tirages originaux de sa main. |
