| Summary, etc. | In the history of american architecture, the contribution of foreign architects has been vital. such is the case of kevin roche , an irishman who obtained his professional architectural qualifications in his own country. after working with maxwell fry and drew in london, roch left for the united states where he soon joined eero saarinen's team. there he met john dinkeloo, who had previously worked with skidmore, owings and merrill. as associates since 1966, roch and denkiloo have already carried out important projects , some of which ( such as the oakland museum) have become famous throughout the world . |
