| Summary, etc. | Ceuta et Melilla, villes espagnoles et africaines, représentent un cas particulier au sein de l'Etat espagnol car, enclavées sur un autre continent, elles sont l'objet d'une revendication territoriale marocaine. Prolongement de la Reconquista puis expansion coloniale au XIXe siècle expliquent la présence espagnole sur les côtes marocaines. Par ailleurs, la particularité de Ceuta et de Melilla est renforcée par les différents groupes de population - chrétiens, juifs musulmans et hindous - qui y résident. L'arrivée massive d'immigrés aux portes d'une Europe riche a particulièrement affecté l'image de Ceuta et Melilla. |
